A look inside . . .

We caught up with Christina Benjamin and picked her brain about her new novel, The Maybe Boyfriend.

Where did you write this novel? I wrote this book will I was on my new years writing retreat in Sky Valley. It’s one of my favorite places. It’s just so peaceful in the mountains and the views are stunning. I think every time I’m up there I end up writing about my characters getting lost in the woods!

What can we expect from this novel? The Maybe Boyfriend is actually kind of special because it’s the first time I’ve revisited any of my characters from the other books in the series. This can still be read as a stand-alone, but if you’ve read The Almost Boyfriend, you’ll really appreciate this story even more. The same characters return to Ireland and this time it’s Megan who’s chasing her happily ever after.

What made you want to write a sequel? A couple of things. The Almost Boyfriend has been a fan favorite and I had a lot of readers asking for Megan’s story. Also I got to go back to Ireland last summer and fell back in love with the country. I was itching to write about it again. It was really fun to incorporate some of the places I visited into the book. It was so fresh in my mind, so this story came easily.

Well I’m excited! How about you? Grab your copy on Amazon and get ready for an Irish adventure.
